A Christmas Prayer – May your business continue to be a sanctifying gift to the world

The owners of companies who see their business ownership as a true vocation, for Catholics this means a real calling from God, are better able to positively affect the lives of their employees and to contribute to the common good.

Saint JoseMaria Escriva said “ Sanctifying one’s work is no fantastic dream, but the mission of every Christian — yours and mine.”

As we celebrate the birth of Christ on Christmas day and continue to celebrate through the rest of the season – through January 8th – I ask you to take this time of celebration to pray that the Holy Spirit guide your thoughts and pray for the strength to increase your efforts in the upcoming year to sanctify yourself, sanctify your work, and sanctify all who interact with your business.

That’s probably the single best resolution you could make for the upcoming year. Merry Christmas!
